Dinner doesn’t have to be overly involved or complicated for it to be satisfying and delicious. Just making one small twist on a classic BLT takes a basic sandwich into something that tastes like it came from a sandwich shop! Make this Caesar BLT in less than 20 minutes and have a quick and east lunch or dinner this week.

INGREDIENTS
For this BLT recipe we’re going to add one letter and make it a CBLT!
- Thick cut bacon.
- Tomatoes
- Romaine lettuce
- Caesar dressing, use your favorite brand, I used this light creamy Caesar dressing.
- Salt & pepper.
- Bread.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH A BLT
Now that you have your sandwich made you’ll need a side or two to round out the meal. Here are some ideas.
- Macaroni salad
- Potato salad
- Coleslaw
- Fries or sweet potato fries
- Tater tots
- Chips with French onion dip
I think keeping it simple and either no cook or ‘low cook’ is best here. This recipe is designed so you can go from prep to eating in less than 20 minutes. For me I’m reaching for a bag of wavy potato chips for that true deli sandwich feel.

Caesar BLT
Take a classic BLT up a level by adding Caesar dressing to chopped romaine lettuce. Easy and quick, ready to eat in less than 20 minutes.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes

- Yield: 2 sandwiches
- Category: 30 Minute Meals
- Method: Cook
- Cuisine: American
Ingredients
4 pieces of your choice of bread
6-8 slices of thick cut bacon
4-6 slices of tomato
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
2 tablespoons creamy Caesar dressing
Salt & pepper
Instructions
1. Cook your bacon until crispy.
2. While the bacon is cooking, toast the slices of bread and season the tomato slices with salt and pepper.
3. When the bacon is done and you’re ready to assemble the sandwich, add the chopped romaine to a large bowl and toss with the Caesar dressing. You want to dress the lettuce last so it doesn’t get too soggy while you’re waiting for the bacon to cook.
4. Assemble the sandwich by adding a few slices of tomato, then as much bacon as you want and as much of the Caesar romaine as you like. Top with the other piece of bread then slice. Serve with a little extra dressing for dipping.Â
