Now you can load up your ice cream sundaes with these homemade cookie dough pieces! No egg and heat treated flour makes these no bake cookie dough pieces safe to eat raw.

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup flour, heat treated
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Heat treat the flour by adding it to a baking sheet and baking at 350 for 7 minutes.

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. In a bowl combine the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Slowly stir in the flour, salt, and white sugar and mix until it reaches cookie dough consistency. Lastly add the chocolate chips. (do this last so they don’t melt from the heat of the flour!) Using your hand, knead the mixture together to form into a large cookie dough ball.

3. Place the cookie dough ball onto the baking sheet and press into a flat rectangle. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

4. Remove from the freezer and break into bite sized pieces. Add to ice cream and enjoy! You can store in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer.
