Walnut Granola

This walnut granola is the perfect topping to your breakfast yogurt! Spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, this warm granola will brighten up your morning!


3/4 cup quick oats
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoon white sugar
5 tablespoons butter, melted
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt


1. Preheat your oven to 325.
2. In a large bowl, combine the quick oats, flour, walnuts, both sugars, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Add in the melted butter and vanilla and stir until all the dry ingredients are wet. 
3. Pour the crumble onto a baking sheet. Press down to form a large rectangle. It will be a mix of larger chunks and smaller crumbly pieces.
4. Bake for 25 minutes.
5. Allow to fully cool then break into pieces.


Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
