Nutella Energy Bites are a protein packed breakfast ball with the irresistible flavor of Nutella! Loaded with quick oats, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, and almond butter…these will make any morning a little bit better!
1 and 1/4 cups quick oats
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup Nutella
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons chia seeds
3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 3.5oz bar of dark chocolate, chopped
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Refrigerate 15 minutes, then roll into balls. I get about 20 energy bites, but you may get more or less depending on how large you roll them.
You will need to ground the flaxseeds. Pour the seeds into a food processor or something like a Nutribullet and pulse until finely ground.
